Objects out of place

This collection draws inspiration from the Parthenon Marbles, located at the British Museum. The marbles have been the subject of repatriation battles between the museum and the nation of Greece, who believe that the sculptures belong at home on the Acropolis. The debate raises questions of cultural ownership and to whom art “belongs”.

For now, they remain out of context and out of place.
